Oak Forest High School Sophomores (l to r) Katie Hast and Kinsey Carrera display their winning edible middle ages manor project in Social Studies Teacher Gary Andruch’s World History Class. On each manor, the students needed to meet certain criteria of a well fortified castle; the people that lived on a manor under feudalism, and some of the middle ages weapons--all constructed with food. The classes had two days to build these edible castles and at the end of the second day each class voted for the best castle.
