Oak Forest High School Art Teacher Mr. Dan Chambers announced that nine students won People’s Choice Awards at the Annual Spring Art Show. Students visited the art show, which was displayed in the IMC, to view the art and to vote in one of four categories for the People’s Choice Award. The categories are: 2-D Color, 2-D Black and White, Sculpture, and Ceramics.
Best in Show in 2-D Color People’s Choice Award was Alana Colby, Honorable Mention artist was Joe Gale; Best in Show in 2-D Black and White People’s Choice Award was Amanda Solis, Honorable Mention artist in 2-D Black and White was Kristen Olejnik; Best in Show in Sculpture was Hamza Damooni, Honorable Mention artists who tied in Sculpture were Lydia Howard and Megan Hines; and Best in Show in Ceramics went to Lizza Samoska, Honorable Mention artist was Zachary Jones.
