Oak Forest High School Sophomore Jenna Beardsley has been awarded this year’s HOBY (Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership) scholarship. Every year, students are selected to attend the HOBY Leadership Conference at Loyola University in Chicago. Beardsley earned this scholarship by being an active member and leader in various school organizations, such as Student Council. Beardsley said she was “ecstatic when I found out I had won this! I told my family and they were so happy for me.”
