Oak Forest HS's Bengal Bash a Good Dose of Fun
Over 580 students were invited to attend this invitation-only Bengal Bash
Oak Forest High School Freshmen Marissa Mushinski, Delanie Doyle, and Abigail Brenner show off the Target gift cards they won at the Bengal Bash, a celebration held for students that have not received any disciplinary action this school year. Over 580 students were invited to attend this invitation-only Bengal Bash. Students won prizes donated by clubs, organizations, sports, and local businesses for playing fun games. The students were called down to play games by their entrance tickets. Four classes were involved in a Tug of War and Mr. Kieran Byrne’s class won! Premium prizes included homecoming and prom tickets and parking passes. Other prizes students won were Bengal Bash t-shirts, PE uniforms, OFHS activity passes, Target gift cards, Buffalo Wild Wings gift cards, Chipotle gift cards, and McDonald’s gift cards. The big ticket winners were thrilled. Junior winners were: Bailey Kessler, an OFHS Activity pass; Kalli Lambros, a parking spot; Kieran Christiansen, a Prom ticket; and Dawn Lubaton, a Homecoming ticket. Sophomore winners were: Matthew Hensler, a parking spot; Breanna Horvath, a Homecoming ticket; and Gabriella Muniz, an OFHS Activity pass. Freshman winner was: Deavery Shanklin, an OFHS Activity pass. The Bengal Bash is hosted by the OFHS Deans of Students Lillie Holman and Adam Wagner. Oak Forest High School teachers donate their time and help out on the day of the event.
