Oak Forest HS's Madrigal Feast

The Music Department recently presented the annual performance

The Oak Forest High School Music Department recently presented its Annual Madrigal Feast. Students did a great job of singing, acting, and playing in the band. There were many students that participated in the event. The Madrigal singers were: Emilia Sorensen, Gery Longino, Samantha Pellegrino, Tessa Damien, Victoria Rice, Alex Joritz, Evelyn Brown, Mairead Dewitt, Emily Cooper, who plays the Queen, Danny Deane, who plays the King, Margaret Good, Shane Bednarek, Mickenzie Alexander, Billy Altier, Ema Kester, Jackie Griffin, and Amanda Blasco. The Ladies-in-Waiting Choir was Cassie Greenhill, Jianna Parel, Sherelyn Saceda, Shaina Spinks, Kinsey Carrera, Kristina Bowers, Emma Davidson, Sarah Boblink, Millie McMahon, and Madyson Brown. The Madrigal Actors were: Kika Arias, playing Queen Mab; Ronan Morrissey, playing the Court Jester; and Dawn Lubaton, who played the Wench. The Madrigal Technical Crew consisted of Christian Barthelt, Javier Rodriguez, Calvin Loew, Trevor Loew, and Ronan Morrissey. The Madrigal Brass Ensemble was: Caleb Armstrong, Audrey Cooper, Ivan Czajkowski, Holly Holtam, Wirada Kornkrasunk, Caroline Lilly, Marley Majetic, John Nieszel, Daniel Ryan, Katherine Shalloo, Megan Toppen, Jessica Velasquez, Noah Walko and Jonathan Sullivan-Wood. The Madrigal was directed by Choral Director Victor Pazik. Band Director Nick Rojek directed the brass ensemble, teacher Cheryl Harris-Sumida wrote and directed the Madrigal drama portion of the evening, and D228 teacher Edgar Gonzalez-Baeza directed the dramatic portion of the evening.
