Oak Forest K9 Memorial Placed On Magnificent Mile

CHICAGO, IL -- The Oak Forest Police K9 Memorial has been placed in the city of Chicago, where it will remain until it is brought to its permanent home outside Oak Forest City Hall after Labor Day.

The memorial was placed on Monday on the Magnificent Mile, according to the Oak Forest Police K9 Memorial Facebook page. The statue, which depicts a bronze police dog in memory of the three K9 units who have recently served in Oak Forest, is outside at 676 North Michigan Avenue.

That's right in front of the Omni Hotel.
