Oak Forest Man Accused of Downloading Kiddie Porn to His Cell Phone
Bail set at $500,000.
An Oak Forest man accused of downloading child porn to his cell phone was tripped up by the Department of Homeland Security. Bail was set at $500,000 Friday for 41-year-old Jason Chapman, who was arrested Thursday.
Chapman allowed his phone to be analyzed by forensic experts, according to Cook County prosecutors, and they discovered he used the KIK messenger app, described as a “mobile first viral sharing app,” to get pornographic photos and videos involving children younger than 13 years of age.
The investigation began in October 2014.
