A 14-year-old Oak Forest boy that sparked a <a href="https://patch.com/illinois/oakforest/oak-forest-police-presence-k9-unit-reported-near-foster-school">police search Friday</a> evening has since willingly returned home, Oak Forest police said Monday. Few details were available Monday, but Oak Forest Police Chief Greg Anderson confirmed the boy, who parents said ran away, is safe and back at home. Police are not releasing his identity.
