Oak Forest to Vie for Championship in 101.9 FM's Battle of the 'Burbs 2015

You’ve been unbeatable, Oak Forest. You’ve crushed the competition this week to advance to the championship round of the Suburban Madness: The Battle of the Burbs 2015 contest, held by 101.9 FM The MIX Chicago.

Chicago area suburbs were named to the competition and are encouraged to get people to text or visit the radio station’s website to vote for their favorite municipalities.

Voting for Oak Forest in the championship round of the March Madness-style competition during “The Eric and Kathy Show,” will take place over the weekend, according to the radio station’s website.

Beginning at a time yet to be designated, text “Oak Forest” to 60123, or visit the Eric and Kathy website after voting kicks off to help Oak Forest advance.

Oak Forest will face the winner of Orland Park versus Brookfield, which will be contested Friday morning. Will it be a showdown of the south suburbs?
