OFHS Volleyball Alum Having Stellar Collegiate Career
Jeff Sprayberry has been named the conference player of the year by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.

BRISTOL, TN -- An Oak Forest High School alum became the first men’s volleyball player at King University to be recognized by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.
Jeff Sprayberry, a junior at King, was named an honorable mention All-American as a member of the 2017 AVCA All-America Honorable Mention Team according to a news release from the King University Athletic Department.
Sprayberry, a 2014 Bengal alum, was also selected as the Conference Carolinas Offensive Player of the Year and was a first team all-conference selection. He led the league with 369 kills, averaging 3.48 kills per set. His attack percentage also ranks 10th in the conference and he has had 13 matches where he has hit better than .300 this season.

King University in Bristol, Tennessee is an NCAA Division II school that competes in Division I in men’s volleyball.
