The Palos Heights Library will be a guest of the market at 10 am with a farm animal stories by Miss Rebecca. A copy of the "Novel Cooking" cookbook will be raffled, and information about the library's programs and events will be available. The library will also be kicking off their 70th Anniversary Countdown Contest for the upcoming September 7th celebration. Congratulations to Chris Walsh, winner of the last cookbook raffle.
The Palos Heights Fire Department will also be on hand. Stop by to see and climb on the trucks, and meet the firemen who protect the Palos Heights community.

Applications for Senior Farmers Market Nutritional Program (SFMNP) coupons are being taken July 2nd ONLY at the Worth Catholic Charities office, 7000 W 111th Street from 9 a.m. -noon, and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. SFMNP coupons are offered to low income seniors (60+) on a first come, first served basis. Photo ID and proof of current income is required at time of application. Income verification can be Social Security award letters, or the last 2 check stubs.
