Pedestrian Dies After Being Struck By Car On Cicero Avenue: Police
A 47-year-old Oak Forest man died after being struck by a car at 154th and Cicero Avenue late Wednesday night, police said.
OAK FOREST, IL — Oak Forest Police are investigating after a 47-year-old man was fatally struck by a car near 154th and Cicero Avenue late Wednesday night, police said Thursday.
Ignacio Torres, of the 15400 block of Cicero Avenue, was struck just before midnight. Emergency responders on scene at 11:52 p.m. attempted life-saving measures. Torres was taken to Advocate Christ Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The driver remained on the scene. The accident is under investigation by Oak Forest Police and the South Suburban Major Accident Reconstruction Team.
