A man parked his car along the southbound lanes of I-294 near Alsip and ran into traffic, according to State Police, where he was struck and killed by a semi truck at about 6:30 p.m. Friday.State Police identified the man on Saturday as 27-year-old Yousef Khatif of Chicago Ridge. The right lane was closed for about four hours after the incident.
