PLEASE CAN MY MORNING HAVE LESS STRESS?

 

Are your mornings hectic?   Would you like Mornings to be more productive and less stressful?  Back –to – School time provides a great opportunity to re-think your Morning Routine!

Look at all the tasks you accomplish in the morning:  Could you lighten your morning load?

Try moving tasks to different times of the day:  Pack lunches the night before, and pick out everyone’s outfits for the week on Sunday nights. 

Mom and Dad, try to focus just on getting everyone out the door.  Ignore email and that first load of laundry until after everyone is on their way.

Give your kids (and yourself!) a short list of expectations for every morning:  Make bed, take shower, put dirty clothes in hamper, eat breakfast, brush teeth. Keep it short and simple.  And make sure the TV and handheld electronics stay turned off!
