Police Officers Ken Muldrow & Ryan Gulli Recognized by D228 Board of Ed & Bremen HS

Both officers have been able to use their experience at BHS to build positive relationships with students and staff

Bremen High School Principal Dave Kibelkis was very proud to introduce Markham Police Officer Ken Muldrow and Midlothian Police Officer Ryan Gulli to attendees at the September 20 Board of Education meeting where the two received Board Recognition Awards. Both of the officers have helped to keep Bremen High School safe during the school day and at athletic events for many years.

Officer Muldrow has worked at Bremen for the past 23 years and Officer Gulli for the past 6 years. Both officers have been able to use their experience at BHS to build positive relationships with students and staff, which has helped to create a safer environment for everyone.

Officer Gulli is also graduate of Bremen and during his time as a resource officer, he has taken over the duties of scheduling officers during the school day, as well as for athletic and activity events. It is not uncommon to see both Officer Gulli and Officer Muldrow working a school dance and/or athletic event in addition to their work during the school day.

Dr. Kibelkis said, "We are very fortunate to have these police officers working with our staff, students and community. Both Officer Gulli and Officer Muldrow are dedicated community members who work with us to make our school a better place for our students and staff. I want to personally thank them for their consistent help through the years at Bremen High School. They definitely fit our motto at Bremen of, 'We Have Pride'.”

Board Member Mark Johnson congratulated the officers and presented each of them with a plaque on behalf of the entire Board of Education.
