Starting Monday, June 15, the Cook County Department of Transportation and Highways will close the northbound lane of Central Avenue from 175th Street to 167th Street for bridge repair. A detour will be set up; however, local traffic will be allowed through the closure and the southbound lanes will remain open. If the weather cooperates, the project should be completed in 60 working days.
