Public Works Department Continues Storm Clean-Up Efforts

Trucks will be out every day to pick up branches throughout the neighborhoods.

Posted on: August 12, 2020

The Public Works Department is working hard on the clean-up from Monday’s storm. Bring any branches to the parkway and stacked neatly to be picked-up. If you are using a contractor to cut down any fallen or damaged tree on your private property, please have them haul away what they cut.

Please be patient as the clean-up process will continue into the following weeks in a systematic way. Trucks will be out every day to pick up branches throughout the neighborhoods. No need to call or submit a request.

Additionally, if you have branches of trees on utility lines in your backyard, please call ComEd, Comcast, ATT, or WOW to report them and not Public Works. The Public Works Department is not allowed on private property to remove trees or do clean-up for residents.
