Shooting Shuts Down Northbound Lanes of I-57 At 127th Street
Three people shot Monday evening on expressway, shutting down northbound lanes of I-57.

ALSIP, IL -- Northbound lanes on I-57 are closed after three people were shot Monday evening. Traffic is being diverted off the expressway at 127th Street, according to Illinois State Police. Three males were taken to a hospital in critical condition.
The shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. on I-57 at 123rd Street and involved two cars, including a dark gray sedan, ABC 7 Chicago reported. The vehicle that carried the three injured males is believed to have crashed into a light pole following the shooting.
State troopers were seen walking the expressway looking for shell casings. The northbound lanes are expected to reopen overnight.
