Shots Fired In Parking Lot Of Hooters In Lansing
The person who fired the gun fled the Hooters on Torrence Avenue in a silver car, police said.

LANSING, IL — Someone fired shots at two people leaving the Hooters restaurant in Lansing Thursday night and that started a brief exchange of gunfire, police in the suburb said.
Lansing police responded to the restaurant at 17060 Torrence Avenue around 9:30 p.m. Thursday night, Dec. 26, to a report of shots having been fired both inside and outside the restaurant but when they arrived learned the incident took place in the parking lot only.
They said someone began shooting at two people who were leaving the restaurant at the time. One of the victims has a valid carry and conceal permit and returned fire, according to police.

The person who fired the first shots fled the area in a silver car. Police did not release a description of the person.
