School District 146 Wins Two Communications Awards

Community Consolidated School District 146 was recently recognized by the 2014 Illinois Chapter National School Public Relations Association’s (INSPRA) with two awards.

The District participated in the INSPRA communications contest with two submissions. Both of the District’s submitted entries received awards. The submissions included the Viewpoint, the District’s annual report, and the printed calendar for school year 2013-2014. INSPRA presented the awards for the winning entries at the 2014 Communications Contest Awards Banquet held in Oak Brook, IL on September 25.

INSPRA offers the only awards program honoring high-quality Illinois school publications. Entries were judged by a panel of INSPRA members in chapters nationwide.

INSPRA received more than 500 entries, and each were judged based on specific criteria: design, writing and clarity.
