Singer Ana Popovic's Tour Van Stolen from Outside Oak Forest Hotel
The van contained much of her equipment, and the singer is in the midst of a tour.
Singer Ana Popovic pleaded with the public last week, after her tour van was stolen from outside a hotel in Oak Forest.
Popovic wrote on her website Saturday that the van—containing all of Popovic’s gear for her tour—had been taken from Best Western Plus Chicago Southland parking lot, 4375 Frontage Rd. Equipment inside included a drum kit, cymbals, bass amplifiers and a piano stand, according to the website. Several articles of clothing and shoes were also inside the tour van.
“I’m in complete shock,” Popovic wrote. “If you know of anything... We’re in the middle of a tour.... PLEASE HELP.”

The van, described as a Mark 2009 Econolone XLT Super Wagon, has Pennsylvania plates, HSN-8934. The van is described as a Mark 2009 Ford Econoline “XLT” Super Wagon.
