Frederick Ty Chaney scored the first two runs for Homewood. Colin Duntz was the winning pitcher. He also was named as Homewood's Player of the Game.
“He pitched very well and had a few great defensive plays as well," Homewood coach Fred Chaney said. "(It) was a full team effort. We give 100 percent. It's not about one player."
