Spring Registration at SSC.

SOUTH HOLLAND, IL–South Suburban College (SSC) announces the extension of its Virtual Classroom Model for the 2021 Spring Semester, including blended classroom instruction methods and limited on-campus activities. Spring classes begin Monday, January 11, 2021, and class schedules, registration services and a new “live chat” with staff are all available online from ssc.edu.

In conjunction with its new virtual classroom model, SSC is offering a free laptop application and other technical supports such as hotspots to assist students with the virtual learning environment. New students may also take advantage of SSC’s free class tuition waiver available to first time credit students for fall or spring semesters who reside within SSC District 510 or Lake County, Indiana (cannot be used with Federal and/or State Financial Aid, or other tuition or employer subsidy programs). Students attending four-year colleges may also utilize their financial aid at SSC by either reverse transferring or taking classes simultaneously at both institutions.

“These measures will be implemented in ways that prioritize the quality of the student experience,” said President Lynette D. Stokes, Ed.D. “We continue to provide high quality educational opportunities for current students and for anyone who has been impacted by the pandemic. We are at your service.”

Future SSC students should get started at admissions.ssc.edu. Once the application process is complete, new students will receive an SSC email account and a Self-Service Username & Password via email which will allow access to student information and class registration.
