St. Baldrick's is Back at Blarney Stone Pub
The bar will welcome those brave enough to go bald for a good cause, March 19 from 1 to 6 p.m.

OAK FOREST, IL — Blarney Stone Pub staff Saturday, March 19 will once again welcome those looking to go bald in a big way.
A local St. Baldrick's event returns to the bar, with a fundraising goal of $20,000. If you'd like to donate, check out their event page. You can also find individual pages here.
The 2015 event saw 60 shavees and raised a total of $17,564 toward research for a treatment for childhood cancers. The Blarney Stone St. Baldrick’s team is at it again, with this year’s event planned for 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday. Nearly 40 shavees have already signed up. The person who raises the most money over $2,000 who shaves their head at Blarney Stone wins their weight in beer from Two Brothers.

The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a national non-profit organization that raises money for childhood cancer research. Volunteers with the organization typically host special events in which they shave their heads in solidarity with children who lost their hair during cancer treatment.
The event will also include performances from Irish dancers, as well as Chicago PD Pipes and Drums. Live music throughout the day from the band Uncovered.
