Strip Club for Nearby Crestwood No Longer Up for Debate

Applicant has withdrawn his request to put an adult cabaret on South Kenton Avenue.

The adult cabaret proposed for Crestwood, intended for a vacant business at 13801 S. Kenton Ave., has been withdrawn and Monday’s public hearing cancelled. “I’m very happy,” said Crestwood Mayor Lou Presta told the Chicago Tribune, saying Jamie Marcanio last week came to village hall and withdrew his application to bring a strip club to town in a former granite store. The mayor said he doesn’t know if Marciano will look for another site or file a new application in the future.
