Student Artwork Featured at St. Damian Confirmation
Three eighth graders at St. Damian School in Oak Forest will have their artwork featured at Saturday's Confirmation ceremony.
OAK FOREST, IL - Eighth graders at St. Damian School are making their Confirmation on Saturday and a few will also have their artwork featured during the ceremony.
Art teacher Jaclyn Lubus asked students to create a depiction of the Holy Spirit using any medium, which would include watercolors, chalk, oil pastels and acrylic paints.
Winning artwork from Matt Haro, whose work will be on the cover of the Confirmation booklet. 2nd place Julia McMahon and 3rd place Emily Sukolowsky will also be featured.
