College World Series: Sujka's Late Run Can't Lift IU Past Miss. St.
The freshman outfielder from Oak Forest hit a pinch-hit single in the 9th inning to start Indiana's rally. Find out what he said online after the loss.

Oak Forest native Chris Sujka scored in the ninth inning to bring Indiana University within a run of Mississippi State, but the Bulldogs held on for a 5-4 win Monday in the second game of the College World Series in Omaha, NE.
Like in his first College World Series game, Sujka, a freshman outfielder for the Hoosiers, came in as a pinch hitter, leading off the ninth inning with a single.
After a double moved him to third with no outs, Sujka scored on a groundout. But IU was unable to get anyone else home after that.

This round of the College World Series is double elimination, and IU (49-15, 1-1) faces Oregon State (51-12, 1-1) at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 19. The winner will play Mississippi State (50-18) on Friday, June 21.
Although he's only had two pinch-hit at bats, Sujka and his enthusiasm has been gaining a lot of attention at the CWS. He was the lede in the Omaha World-Herald's feature on the Hoosiers, and he will be profiled this week in the Indiana Daily Student, IU's student newspaper.
