Officers alerted to the crime reportedly spotted the stolen car heading east on 151st Street.

The patrol officer chasing the teen eventually broke off his pursuit but an off-duty Orland Park officer picked it up again and cornered the fugitive on the dead end of Brassie Court, police said.

The teen took off running but was soon captured.
