Tevin Coleman Scores Touchdown in Super Bowl LI
Oak Forest alum scored the final Atlanta Falcons touchdown on Super Bowl LI.
HOUSTON, TX - Tevin Coleman, an Oak Forest High School alum and native of Tinley Park, scored a touchdown for the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI. Coleman's score came midway through the third quarter and helped give the Falcons a commanding 28-3 lead over the New England Patriots.
The lead wasn't commanding enough, however. The Patriots rallied from the 25-point deficit to win the game in overtime, 34-28. It was the largest comeback in Super Bowl history and also the first time the NFL's biggest game has gone into overtime.
Coleman, a running back, scored the touchdown via a 6-yard pass from Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan.
