This past week a team of our incredible students set up our booth at Stag High School's Career Day. Our team had a wonderful time educating everyone about our fabulous industry. Many Stag students enjoyed getting a feather put in their hair, learning about our education, and checking out the hottest new hair colors in our collection! Being able to spread our love for the industry with community members is something we truly enjoy and cherish. With our industry growing as rapidly as it is we are always on the hunt for fresh innovated students to join our JA family. Our school prides itself on having a wide range of educational options and accommodations. We have programs that can work for anyone. We offer day or night, part or full time schedules and are completely equipped to work with any other extraordinary circumstances a student may have. With the economy today and uncertainty of our job market we are seeing more and more high school graduates coming in for expert training that allows them to enter the industry in a short period of time."Now with student debt and mismatch between unemployed Americans’ skills and the required expertise for available jobs, vocational education is gaining steam, and high schools are rethinking whether they should usher students toward something other than traditional colleges” says Tyler Kengkade, in The Huffington Post. In the past few years vocational training has received strong impetus from our federal and state governments, helping make vocational instruction even more affordable. Here the the John Amico School of Hair Design we offer the most affordable education in our area. We employ a variety of financial assistance programs to help lessen the worries of loans and expenses for our students. Beauty is our passion and being able to spread that passion to upcoming generations is what keeps our fire lit.
