One person was transported to an area hospital Wednesday after a three-car accident near 167th Street and Lockwood Avenue.
The crash just before 8 a.m. A silver SUV went through a wooden forest preserve fence and into a shallow creek. The driver was able to get out of the vehicle herself and she was taken to South Suburban Hospital as a precaution, according to Cook County Sheriff’s Spokesperson Sophia Ansari.
The road was shut down to clear the vehicles from the scene.
