Three Oak Forest HS BPA Students are Medalists at National Competition
Hannah McMaster, Tessa Damien and Kayla Ballard each took home a national medal

Congratulations to Oak Forest High School Students Hannah McMaster, Tessa Damien, and Kayla Ballard who each took home a national medal at the Business Professionals of America National Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida last weekend. The three national medalists competed against rivals from across the nation. Tessa took 2nd Place in Legal Office Procedures, Hannah took 6th Place in Fundamental Word Processing, and Kayla Ballard took 9th Place in Advanced Office Systems and Procedures. “This is the first time we’ve ever gotten three National Medalists!” said BPA Sponsor Connie McSweeney. “This is an amazing accomplishment.” In addition to the terrific work of the three National Medalists, Oak Forest HS students also placed in the top 20 in two other events. Hannah McMaster took 14th Place in Medical Office Procedures and Brianna Mitchell took 16th Place in Intermediate Word Processing. Congratulations to the OFHS Chapter of the Business Professionals of America! You made us proud at your competition in Orlando!
