Teal Ribbons have been placed in key areas in Oak Forest to celebrate National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. Teal is the designated color for Ovarian Cancer.

Ovarian Cancer is a difficult Cancer to treat because there is no early detection test . Women need to be aware of symptom which may include:

Abdominal bloating

Abdominal pain, heartburn, indigestion

Back pain, or frequent ruination.

If symptoms persist 2 weeks or longer , they should be evaluated by a physician.
