Tinley Park Hires Firm to Explore Options for Mental Health Facility

Tinley Park officials agreed to invest in a firm to develop a plan for the property.

Tinley Park will pay $105,800 to a Chicago architecture firm to look into options for development of the defunct Tinley Park Mental Health Center.

The firm Farr Associates will come up with a blueprint for the 280 acres—referred to by trustees as “the last major developable area of Tinley Park,” the Chicago Tribune reports.

A report could be available within six weeks.
