Tinley Park HS Celebrates Homecoming 2017
Ryan Zentar and Morgan Sniegolski were named Homecoming King and Queen

Tinley Park High School celebrated Homecoming 2017 during the week of September 11th. From decorated hallways to spirit days to the big game and dance, Homecoming 2017 was a week students will remember for year to come. Under the direction of Student Council Advisor Ms. Kelly Waiter and class sponsors, many students and staff members came together to make this event a success. Students on Homecoming Court included: Freshmen Kevin Rodriguez and Makenna Szot, Sophomores Dan Perkins and Desiree Lyttle, Juniors Prince Sean Ford and Princess Anna Kovats, and Seniors Nairee Williams and Mary Wisneski, Jared Cook and Alexis Jackson, Haarith Sulamaan and Isis Kirkland and King Ryan Zentar and Queen Morgan Sniegolski. The Announcement of the Prince and Princess (Sean Ford & Anna Kovats) along with the King and Queen (Ryan Zentar & Morgan Sniegolski) was a surprise that was announced during the Homecoming Football Game! After school on Monday, the hallways of the school were transformed by the different classes competing for the best representation of this year’s theme, “A Night in Times Square.” Each day of the week, students and staff members participated in spirit days including Flannel Day, Sports Day and of course, School Spirit Day. On Friday, September 15th the Homecoming Assembly will took place with the new addition of a staff dance team! The assembly was immediately followed by a free Homecoming kick-off party. The Titans ended the night with a stunning 62-20 Varsity Football victory over TF North. The stands were packed with many current and former TPHS students who cheered the team on to victory. The week ended with the Homecoming Dance on Saturday.
