Tinley Park HS Preschoolers Visit the Children's Museum

The day was fun, meaningful, and exhausting for both the preschool and high school students

Students enrolled in Ms. Ashley Gerber’s Child Care II class at Tinley Park High School brought their preschool students on a field trip to The Children’s Museum in Oak Lawn. The two story museum offered a variety of hands on activities that engaged the preschoolers for hours of learning through play. The preschoolers participated in imaginative play taking on the roles of everything from princesses to firemen. They unleashed their creativity by painting on a large window and played in the pretend store as shoppers and cashiers. The day was fun, meaningful, and exhausting for both the preschool students and their high school teachers.
