OAK FOREST, IL - Fresh off one of the largest yearly events, Oak Forest residents may be interested in finding out what places in town visitors like to visit the most. The popular travel website TripAdvisor allows users to rate attractions, restaurants and hotels on a 1-5 system and make up a list of the best places in town. 1. Chicago Gaelic Park - Reviewer from Chicago states: “Truly intimate lovely pub, as well as banquet settings. Brought a friend of mine from the old sod who felt as if he were at home (as I promised). Good food, good music, lovely staff and the ambiance is so very worth it! Slainte!”
2. Bremen Grove Dog Park - Reviewer from Tinley Park states: “The ground was covered with snow but everything looked very clean and well kept. The dog area is divided by a fence into areas for large dogs and for small dogs.”
3. George Dunne National Golf Club - Reviewer from Phoenix, Arizona states: “really like this course and keep coming back to play every time we visit Chicago. Fairway and greens were in great shape. Number 18 ate MY lunch!”
4. Linger Martini Bar - Reviewer from Glen Ellyn states: “I Went to once a month jazz brunch, good music, the food ran out quickly but was tasty. Jerk chicken, yams, greens, dressing, Mac n cheese, fried chicken, pecan pie and cake. Nice place to host a small birthday party. Great drinks menu, and quite tasty at a reasonable price.”
