Tribeca Flashpoint College Visits Bremen HS

Several of Bremen High School’s business technology classes had the pleasure of engaging in an interactive career exploration seminar brought to them by Tribeca Flashpoint College. Ms. Madeleine Hansen and Ms. Valarie Biondi spent the day with the business teachers as they introduced the technology students to digital media and design. The presentation introduced students to interactive advertising as well as other career fields that the college focuses on. The students were pleased to discover the multitude of options for degrees in the areas of film, design, marketing, animation and audio engineering.

Ms. Hansen and Ms. Biondi did a great job engaging the students and stressing the importance of finding a school that has career placement support. Students followed up the presentation with a discussion in class the next day about technology based careers and different path ways to get there.
