Two Injured in Christmas Eve Crash in Oak Forest
Drivers of both vehicles were taken to area hospitals for treatment.
An elderly man and middle-aged woman were taken to area hospitals Wednesday, after a crash on 167th Street in Oak Forest.
At approximately 9:25 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 24, a 2005 Toyota SUV pulled onto 167th from northbound Lockwood and was struck by a 1999 Toyota SUV that was traveling eastbound on 167th Street, according to the preliminary investigation by Cook County Sheriff’s police.
The driver of the 2005 Toyota , a 72-year-old man was taken to an area hospital for treatment. An update on his condition is not currently available.

The driver of the other vehicle, a 40-year-old woman, was treated and released from an area hospital.
The crash remains under investigation.
