Volunteers Search for Home for Abandoned Dog
"Bailey" needs a home, after her owners no longer wanted to share theirs with her.

Volunteers in Oak Forest have made it their mission to reunite stray, lost, or abandoned dogs with new owners.
Their current plight centers on a black pit bull mix found wandering in Oak Forest. Oak Forest Animal Control located the dogβs owners, who told the agency they no longer wanted the dog.
βBaileyβ is being held at the kennel, where she is being taught basic skills such as manners and house-training. If not re-homed soon, she will be transferred to another shelter, said Oak Forest alderman and volunteer Laura Odette-Clemons.

She is very active, and would do best in a home with older children.
