Earl Truss, 20, is wanted for the shooting death of 17-year-old Juwan Benson inside a gas station in Harvey. Benson, who lived just two blocks from where he was shot, was pronounced dead at the scene. His mother was also shot and taken in critical condition to Advocate Christ Hospital. Police said Truss knew his victims, and argued with them before opening fire from the doorway of the gas station Saturday afternoon.

Harvey Police spokesman Sean Howard said Truss is considered armed and dangerous. If anyone sees him, they should call 9-1-1, and “don’t take matters into your own hands.”
