Woman, 42, Dies After Car Hits Light Pole On Cicero Avenue: OFPD

OAK FOREST, IL — A 42-year-old woman died following a single-car crash Sunday night in Oak Forest, police said.

Clotilde Cuesta, of Hazel Crest, was driving northbound near 151st and Cicero Avenue when the car she was in struck a light pole on the northeast corner of the intersection just before 8 p.m, Oak Forest Police Chief Jason Reid said. Cuesta was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead at 8:40 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.

The crash is still under investigation, police said.
