As seen by the majority of the reviews, I love me some good omelettes and pancakes (along with pizza). I met my brother here for lunch on MLK day; we both had today off!
My brother had been here before, so I knew it wouldn’t be terrible. The menu was huge, and quite diverse. Whenever I go to one of these breakfast/coffee/lunch places, I always opt for breakfast fare because they most likely do it right. Not saying that the lunch is bad (Did not have it), but I’ll always default to breakfast.
They have your standard skillets, scramblers, pancakes, omelettes, meat n eggs, waffles, frittatas, and smoothies. Their menu is posted on their website. It’s huge! ... I was very impressed with Eggheadz.

Jessie S. of Orland Park says: This is my favorite place for breakfast. Big menu, reasonable prices, and everything is delicious. It’s also my parents favorite breakfast joint and they can sometimes be hard to please. Everything I’ve had has been good.
3. Anemone Caffe & Neapolitan Pizzeria, 6431 W 127th St., Palos Heights | 4.5 stars
Jason R. of Chicago says: The food is of magnificent quality with the satisfaction of feeling homemade. For example: the pizza is made in a brick oven, thin crust, the cheeses are imported from Italy, and the sauce is homemade. I never eat pizza crust (unless it’s home run inn or stuffed with cheese), but I surely did today! I would recommend one of their more popular pizzas, the Margherita!
They’re also pretty good for breakfast, offering one of my favorites to try at every restaurant - stuffed french toast! ... On my next trip, I’ll be trying the homemade gelato!
4. Harvest Room, 7164 W 127th St., Palos Heights | 4 stars
Amanda L. of Orland Park says: We are big foodies and always looking for the next best fresh restaurant. What I can say is amazing!! I love to cook and am a food channel addict so on a recommendation from a friend we ate here. Food is incredible! Fresh ingredients, excellent choices for accompanyments. The crab cakes with dill aioli and quinoa and the fresh made mediterranean dips are divine! Fresh Salmon, steaks and yes vegetarian options. Dessert liquid chocolate cake one of the best we’ve had. Fresh brewed teas and coffee. Nothing compares on the South side.
5. Blissful Banana Café, 15447 S 94th Ave., Orland Park | 4 stars
Stina N.of Oak Lawn says: I’ve eaten here twice now, and both times I’ve been extremely pleased. The food is fresh and high quality, and I feel like the prices are more than fair for the quality. ... I’ve yet to order the Banana Bliss, but the waitress brought my husband and I some samples to try. It was delicious as well. I make something similar at home so I knew I would enjoy it, but it was even better than what I make. One day I’ll come in and just order some banana bliss. ... I do tend to forget this place is there since I’m usually on La Grange, but I’m definitely going to make more of an effort to keep coming back!
6. The Egg & I, 7164 W 183rd St., Tinley Park | 3 stars
Vanitha S. of Atlanta, Georgia says: Their skillets will blow you away, esp the Chicken Greek. Another favorite is the banana nut french toast (may not on the menu anymore but they’ll make it). Their hash browns are always crispy and not oily. The menus is always changing and new creative dishes added.
