Police, fire, school transportation, and emergency services have been notified and will continue operating without interruption.

As part of the Polaris Sewer Improvement Project, a large-diameter storm sewer pipe has already been installed along Kilpatrick Road. Installation of an additional 48-inch diameter pipe along 105th Street from Kilpatrick Road to Kedvale Avenue will begin soon.

These sewer segments must be connected through the installation of a large underground concrete structure designed to:

  • Improve stormwater drainage
  • Reduce flooding risks
  • Direct stormwater flows to the newly constructed basin at Polaris Park

This infrastructure improvement is critical to the long-term stormwater management system for the area.
