18-Year-Old Shot In Oak Lawn, Shooter Believed No Longer In Area
18-year-old man shot Wednesday evening in Oak Lawn has been taken to the hospital. Police say the situation is "all very fluid."
OAK LAWN, IL — An 18-year-old man was shot Wednesday evening in Oak Lawn. Police are currently investigating what is being described as “all very fluid.”
The shooting happened in the 9500 block of Campbell, police said in a tweet that went out at 9:25 p.m. Police believe the shooter has left the area.
The 18-year-old has been taken to a nearby hospital. Responding officers and detectives are gathering information, Div. Chief Gerald Vetter told Patch in an email.
