Today marks the 52nd anniversary of the Oak Lawn Tornado on April 21, 1967.
I tried to capture the moment of fear and loss on my drawing.
I know it's not a perfect one but I wanna honor the vicitims, their families, the survivors, the first responders and all who experienced that terrible day. On that day, the Village of Oak Lawn showed how a real community should act.
We stay together.
