2 Dead In Shooting At Burbank Restaurant

BURBANK, IL — Two people died in a shooting Thursday evening at a Burbank shrimp house.

Around 6:38 p.m., Burbank police were called to Frank’s Chicago Shrimp House, 6539 W. 79th St., for a report of a person shot. Police found a woman lying on the floor with apparent gunshot wounds.

Officers tried to render aid and determined the woman was dead. A man was also found lying on the floor with a gunshot wound. Burbank paramedics transferred him to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced deceased.

Police are calling the shooting an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public. This is an active investigation and updates will be provided as soon as information becomes available.
