2 Masked Robbers Hold Up Oak Lawn AT&T Store: Police
The suspects reportedly zip-tied the mobile store employees before fleeing with cash in a dark colored SUV Monday evening, police said.
OAK LAWN, IL — Oak Lawn police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Monday evening at a mobile phone store. Another robbery is also said to have occurred at a vitamin store in Evergreen Park.
Two masked men walked into the AT&T store, 5251 W. 95th Street at approximately 9 p.m., Oak Lawn police said. They held up the employees and took cash. It is unknown if they stole any phones. The pair reportedly zip-tied the employees.
Around the same time, another robbery occurred at a business in the 2500 block of 95th Street in Evergreen Park.

The suspects are believed to have fled in a dark colored SUV, possibly a Dodge Durango. According to Spot News on X (formerly known as Twitter), three people bailed out of the SUV and ran into a residence in the 11900 block of Eggleston in Chicago, where a perimeter has been set up for a possible barricade situation.
Oak Lawn police are asking anyone with information about Monday’s robbery to text tips to 708-613-8477.
