59-Year-Old Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Vehicle in Oak Lawn

OAK LAWN, IL -- A 59-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle as he tried to cross 95th Street in Oak Lawn on Monday evening.

Oak Lawn police are still reconstructing the accident. The man was apparently crossing 95th Street near Cook Avenue from the south side of the street to the north side.

He was struck by a 27-year-old woman driving wesbound in the curb lane of 95th Street. The investigation of the accident is still ongoing. No charges have been filed at this point.
