Advocate Christ Paints The Town Pink For Breast Cancer
The Cancer Institute at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn will host a day of activities to raise breast cancer awareness on Oct. 12
OAK LAWN, IL — The Cancer Institute at Advocate Christ Medical Center is hosting a day of activities designed to heighten awareness about breast cancer. "Paint the Town Pink for Prevention and Early Detection of Breast Cancer” happens this Saturday, Oct. 12, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Stein Auditorium and Conference Center located on 93rd St. and Kilbourn Ave., Entrance F, in Oak Lawn. This event is FREE. Registration is requested.
Eva Moon, screenwriter, playwright and music maker, will deliver the keynote speech “The Mutant Diaries … Unzipping my Genes.” There will be a vendor fair and lunch will be provided.
